SECTION60 Sheffield
Great return of the Sheffield indie band Section60 with this really remarkable 7″ record.
We supported this band several years ago as they use to wear our clobber during some their live sets so a few months we were delighted to hear the news of their reunion
Keen Sheffield United fans, their name originates from the right of the British Police to stop and search anyone in the case of a crime being committed.
The A side of this 7″ is “Tell Me Tonight”, and once again the guitar work is one that gets stuck in your head. No doubt this tune sees Oasis as one of Section60’s main sources of inspiration.
On the B side we have “Why Walk”, a much darker track that seems to refer to Joy Division. The addition of a female voice makes Why Walk even more atmospheric.
This vinyl has been produced in 300 numbered copies, and as fans of Section60 and proud owners of #93, we really hope this is the prelude to a complete album
